György Kovásznai's cult film The Bubble Bath and Marcell Jankovics' groundbreaking classic Son of a White Mare will also be screened at the prestigious animated film festival.

2019

Five Hungarian films at the most important animation festival: three Hungarian short films in competition, a restored version of Johnny Corncob and the Cat City at the prestigious international animation festival.

2018

The Annecy International Animation Film Festival is being held between 11-16 June 2018. The world’s best animation films, full length, short and TV productions have been presented in this small town in France for more than 45 years. During the one-week festival there is a competition programme as well as retrospectives, exhibitions and open-air screenings.

The festival programme has an international film market (MIFA), where the Film Fund is represented on a joint stand along with the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest (MOME) and the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH). We are representing the activities of the Film Archive with a new animation catalogue.
